Final Family Heritage Presentation
You will need to include the following elements in your final Family Heritage Presentation:
- 15 family member tree (if possible, some families are smaller or larger then others)
- a picture of every immediate family member
- a description of every family member's hobbies and interests
- a youtube video of a cultural tradition that your family shares
- a picture of an important family object
- 3 old pictures of your family (extended family is fine)
- an exiting quote written from yourself - what did you appreciate most about learning about your family and heritage? (50 words)

Mission - to learn about the pubic school system in a different country.
Working with a partner of your choice, you will create a powerpoint including the following items:
1- chose a country (excluding Canada and the USA)
2- find out how the country defines 'elementary, junior and senior high school', do they have different names for their school levels, etc?
3- find out what a typical school lunch looks like (insert 4-5 pictures)
4- is school payed for by the government? are teachers salaries payed for by the government?
5- what courses and curriculum do students learn?
6- is there a balance between science, physical education and the arts?
7- are school uniforms used or promoted?
8- are exchange programs promoted in the school system?
9- what is the school's discipline procedure?
10- what school teams and clubs are offered?
